With the Children of Wrecks dealt with, the dukes of the Iron Confederacy are sending a formal delegation to negotiate the [[Ambassador#Treaty|treaty]] that the Empire has requested several times. Baroness Lavasse is sending two of her most trusted aides, who are also coincidentally members of her own extended family - Ser Marquette Lavasse and the newly-entitled Marquise Katerine Lavasse.

The Baroness has written a personal letter for the Ambassador that touches on the matter of the negotiations, but the civil service have penned their own assessment. Discussions will certainly involve the Suranni holdings in [[the Brass Coast]], but as the Iron Confederacy has been very clear, they are not interested in giving up land they have conquered. They are also likely to want to discuss the conquest of the Lasambrian Hills.
