The Striding has a diversity of personalities, backgrounds, and interests, bound together by a mutual Loyalty and trust. In the past, each member took a "wolf name" to reflect their place in The Great Dance or a particularly noteworthy achievement. Now, the members earn a wider, more varied animal name - as the Striding has grown, so have their ideals and morals - as well as their message to protect any and all citizens of the empire. Their motto reflects this, being “Our Lives for the Empire, Our Blood for our Own” - this shows their commitment to all nations, all territories, any lineage and any citizen. 			The Lopoldë's Flame striding has its roots in Brocéliande, though they travel farther afield. The striding first came together in the aftermath of Druj attacks in the region, when disparate groups of herbalists and crafters offered their skills to those affected, banding together for the sake of survival. Over time, what began as cooperation out of necessity grew into tradition and strong bonds, and so the striding was born.

			Their brand is a priest of Courage, currently based in Reikos. From there, the striding works to lend support to efforts to reclaim Vale’s Lament. The striding’s oath, "'‘Swift and true, always.’'" is a reminder of the virtues of Courage and Loyalty. To be swift is to act without hesitation when faced with fear or doubt. To be true is to hold fast to loyalty and to one another. The striding holds these virtues close during these uncertain times.

			The original Dancer family left their commune in Mournwold after the territory was reclaimed from the Jotun. They travelled to Anvil as they tried to learn more about the different lands and the culture of the people who helped liberate them from Jotun control. When they arrived at Anvil, they felt an almost calling towards the Navarr camp, drawn in by the music of Songs and Stories.

	The original Dancer family left their commune in Mournwold after the territory was reclaimed from the Jotun. They travelled to Anvil as they tried to learn more about the different lands and the culture of the people who helped liberate them from Jotun control. When they arrived at Anvil, they felt an almost calling towards the Navarr camp, drawn in by the music of Songs and Stories.

	Enchanted by the music being played and felt the need to dance along. The family asked about the nation and learned of how its people walk the trods. After that summit, they returned to the commune and convinced others to join them in taking the oath to defeat the vallorn; not by walking the trods, but dancing and playing music along them.
