Judgement 69

  • Assembly: League Assembly
  • Raised By: Ophelia Sanguineo Rezia di Tassato
  • Judgement: The people of Whittle are not evil, they are misguided. Their hatred of orcs is founded on decades of fighting the Jotun and not just their faith. Their embrace of hatred is no more problematic for civilised folk than the false idols of the Asaveans. As such the League assembly sends Ophelia Sanguineao Rezia di Tassato with 50 doses of liao to offer the Whittle folk sanctuary in Tassato, in the Little Mournwold district that they helped to found. While the people of Tassato accept orcs as citizens of the Empire, there are no orcs vying to become citizens of the League and so the Whittle folk may live peacefully in Tassato Mestra without compromising their beliefs - as long as they accept that preaching the false virtue of Hatred will not be tolerated.
  • Outcome: Not upheld (114 - 142). Not Upheld.
  • Notes: The opportunity is detailed here.

  • Notes: The opportunity is detailed here.

Judgement 100

  • Assembly: Urizen National
  • Raised By: Aurum of the Nightingale Temple
  • Judgement: The Paragon of Blades is the perfect epitome of the Urizeni spirit - pure calculating reason unhindered by emotion or pity. We send Aurum of the Nightingale Temple with 50 doses of liao to encourage every Urizeni to embrace her teachings. Let us bring strength against weakness and victory will be ours.
  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (154 - 65). TBC. This mandate further solidifies support for the sword scholars. It will create the opportunity for the Empire to fund the creation of more sword scholar temples across Morrow. In addition their implacable opposition to the influence of the Imperial Synod would make it harder for statements of principle passed by the Assembly of the Nine or the General Assembly to affect Urizen. It would not be impossible - but the impact of any statements would be attenuated.
  • Notes: The opportunity is detailed here.
