Brilliant Star
Overview
The Brilliant Star is located in Tomari in the Urizen territory of Redoubt. Custodianship of the Brilliant Star grants an Imperial title; a seat on the Imperial Bourse; and a seasonal bounty of valuable mithril.
The Resource
In the peaks of Tomari in Redoubt, overlooking the Urizen spire of Delving is the Brilliant Star. Allegedly the most beautiful of all the star shaped tunnel complexes that undermine the mountains, its walls gleam slightly even when there is no other light.
It is this light that attracts the students of both Tabulous and Delving, as well as many a scholar from the Spires. It is believed that the pale light from the walls promotes reasoned thought, the understanding of even the most difficult of principles, and it is this belief that brings both students and masters sneaking past the workers.
The light in some areas is particularly prized, with competition for areas in the complex so fierce that more than one riot has broken out in the mine.
It is the pale light that makes the granite of the Brilliant Star prized for use in great spires, places of learning, and the homes of the greatest minds of the Empire.
