GOD 2025 E4 specials

This page lists things that are likely to affect GOD crew, because they're special for this event and change how we normally do things.

This doesn't try to cover everything in the Winds of Fortune: sometimes player ask for information about conjunctions, or about how certain titles or opportunities work. They're things we might be able to help with, but they're not covered here because they don't fundamentally change how GOD processes work.

General event information

This is the Autumn Equinox 387YE. This event, dusk is 19:00–20:00. Bows and crossbows cannot be used in Anvil after 19:55, and cannot be used on quests that start after 19:55.

Character packs

Businesses and mines

• [1] Characters with a business or a mine in Highguard will receive an extra 18 rings.

Congregations

• [2] Characters with congregations in the League previously received a boost to their liao production; this is no longer the case, so those characters will receive less liao than they did previously.

Military units

• [4] Characters with a military unit that supported Schogsfestnir should have a traumatic wound in their character pack.
• [5] There are 150 thrones split between military units supporting named armies and fortifications.

Fleets

• [6] Characters trading with Axos used to receive mana crystals, but this is no longer the case. Instead, they receive "Tomb dust" (a potion rip-open lammy) and possibly Masks of the Citadel (ribboned magical items).

Magic

Madyn's Gift

• [7] Someone performing the ritual "Madyn's Gift" but including beggar's lye gets additional effects: if there is any beggar's lye included in the ritual, take up to five pairs of beggar's lye + realmsroot, and replace it with the "potion" Whisperspore.

Blood magic

• [8] Someone invoking the Claw during a ritual can spend hit points on certain rituals (check the list at the link) in place of mana, once per day, and also receives a bonus rank for the ritual. If someone does this, record it in the ritual notes. If they're relying on the bonus rank, you'll need to do the rank calculations manually, as the web interface won't account for them.
• [9] Someone invoking the Claw can cast the Empower spell using a hit point rather than mana. This is very unlikely to need any processing in GOD!

Arcane Projections

• [10] Arcane Projections that curse an individual can be exchanged in GOD for 10 mana. If someone brings one in, give them the 10 mana, take the AP from them and write a short note saying it's been exchanged for mana, and put it in the inbox so we can record that the AP has unravelled and can no longer be cast.
• [11] Arcane Projections enchanting armies, navies, military units or fleets can be exchanged in GOD for 10 mana. If someone brings one in, give them the 10 mana, take the AP from them and write a short note saying it's been exchanged for mana, and put it in the inbox so we can record that the AP has unravelled and can no longer be cast.
