Bursar of the House of Spirits

Overview

The Bursar of the House of Spirits oversees the House of Spirits in Casinea. The House of Spirits is a remote campus that serves to host students from the College of Necromantia in the Halls of Maykop. It was commissioned by the Imperial Senate during the Winter Solstice 383YE and completed shortly before the Spring Equinox 384YE.

Responsibilities

The Bursar of the House of Spirits serves as liaison to students who visit and make use of the House of Spirits. In the event that the House of Spirits was threatened, they would be expected to deal with those threats.

Ministry

As a ministry, the Bursar can purchase rings of ilium at a set price. The Bursar spends their money and makes their choices during downtime from their character page. Money is removed from, and resources are placed into, the character's inventory when the downtime is processed.

Appointment

This title is appointed during the Spring Equinox. The Bursar of the House of Spirits is appointed by citizens of Highguard who control congregation personal resources. The larger the congregation an individual has, the more votes they can allocate in support to a candidate. The voting is handled by the civil servants in the Bourse.

Only a Highborn citizen may hold the title. They do not receive a seat on the Bourse. As a title appointed through the Bourse they cannot be revoked by the Synod.
