Construct Scholars of the Sword Academy


Self-funded to build a white granite sinecure in the city of Holberg known as the Holberg Scholars of the Sword Academy, the custodian of which will be known as the Master of Defense of the Scholars of the Sword Academy. The Master of Defense will receive financial benefit whilst in governance. Appointment as a tenure position (until death, resignation, or reallocation) by the Senators of the League

  • This announcement is missing necessary details regarding the cost to create the sinecure, so the Civil Service have assumed the minimum size (10 wains).

Progress

  • 2 thrones 4 crowns and 10 wains of white granite provided by Giacomo Corvinoscuro after Autumn Equinox 384YE

Outcome

  • Once complete, the sinecure would create an Imperial title, the Master of Defence of the Scholars of the Sword Academy which would be appointed by unanimous decision of the senators of the League, and have tenure.
  • The Master of Defence (etc) would receive the benefits of a money sinecure (taking the form of a regular stipend from the college).
  • The construction is complete and the Master of Defence of the Scholars of the Sword Academy is due to be elected at the Winter Solstice 384YE.
