<!-- Description Text
The Great Park in Holmaur was completed just before Winter YE381, following a collection and series of generous donations from Imperial citizens and groups.
An opportunity to clear the ruins of Holmaur was provided in spring 380YE, passing in senate that same season with a motion proposed by the Senator for Holberg and seconded by the senator for Feroz. Construction started in Autumn 380YE with materials bought by a senate grant to Othello von Holberg, then senator for Holberg. This was added to by collections stewarded by Irina Kardaovich and Caerwyn von Holberg of the Feasting Crow. The final materials to complete the project were supplied by The Butcher’s Bank.
The extensive landscaping of the park has led to pleasant paths snaking through flower gardens, grassy banks and natural forest areas. It is a favourite place for students to study, or just lounge on the grass, discussing great matters of the Empire. Children run amongst the paths and hide behind the sculptures in the gardens. Young lovers disappear into the Wunderkind Woods for secret trysts. Duels are fought, to the fascination of audiences who may have arrived especially for the spectacle or may just be passing through.
Close to the entrance from the city of Holberg is placed a plaque bearing the following text:
“This park has been completed with prosperous donations from the following citizens and groups of the Empire.
Andreas Massoni
The Beneficent Order of the Steel Chain
Berenger Von Holberg
The Butchers Bank
Caerwyn Von Holberg of the Feasting Crow

Otto Fredrich Von Holberg”
There are row boats for hire on the lakes and river, and tourists and locals alike delight in rowing out to the folly on the island or climbing the tower and looking out over the city of Holberg. The Kaiser Sausage Bowl is a popular venue for concerts with orchestras and choirs fighting to get their names on the bill.
New housing was incorporated within the park for the residents of The Holmaur, so that none were forced to relocate by the gentrification of their home area. These new homes are spacious and well-appointed and feature communal yards and gardens to allow the inhabitants fresh are and safe places for their children to play close to home.
The Sculpture Garden is a series of coalescing and dividing paths, allowing for contemplative and meditative wanderings in a rose garden scattered with statues of citizens of Holberg and the Empire along with more abstract concepts. It includes statues of
