Description

The Icewalker's Anvil is a useful talisman useful to the ritual magicians of Wintermark. The schema was purchased from the eternal Estavus as part of her offer to the mediators of Wintermark. Originally known as the Dripping Ring the focus was renamed by the Suaq Æthwin who passed the schema to Sulkavaris to be added to Runesmith's Law.

Rules

  • Form: Talisman. Takes the form of a ritual focus. You must be wearing this item or holding it in hand to use its magical properties.
  • Requirement: You must have the magician skill to bond to this item.
  • Effect: Once per day you can use one personal mana as if it were crystal mana when casting a ritual.
  • Materials: Crafting the Icewalker's Anvil requires four ingots of tempest jade and three measures of iridescent gloaming. It takes one month to make one of these items.

Runesmith's Law

This magic item is part of Runesmith's Law rather than Imperial Lore. Any Wintermark character with the artisan skill can learn to make this item. Before they are able to do so they must swear a powerful geas, and if they later leave the nation they lose the ability to make this item.
