The mana sinecure site is situated in one of the many caverns, nooks and crannies of Graven Rock. The site was selected because of the detection of flows of magic. There were a number of theories as to why this would occur in a now disused part of the Grave Rock mines; the most popular one is that this site was near a major thoroughfare to an ancient part of the mine system and many people had walked through there and left some impression of their ambitions and dreams. Whatever the reason, the magic was particularly strong here and skilled engineers of the Empire constructed a focus of polished rock that has allowed the mana to be distilled in to solid form. It seems apt that after seasons of Bregasland being defended by the Dripping Echoes of the Fens, cast mainly by the Circle of Endless Night, that the Dour Fens Mana Sinecure within Bregasland should now be responsible for production of mana to help in the war effort. | |||
