The [[Imperial Senate]] appoints generals to the Military Council, which is charged with defending the Empire, protecting its borders and defeating its enemies. The Council is responsible for the key strategic decisions made by the Empire. The Council decides where the Imperial armies are sent and which strategic opportunities to pursue.


The Military Council will be a political arena for characters who are engaged in war and conflict with the Empire's enemies. A position in the Military Council will give a character influence over the wars the Empire fights as well as the battles that take place at each event.

By Imperial Law, it is forbidden for any senator to the enter the chamber of the Military Council. The First Empress is believed to have passed this law to prevent political interference in the work of the Military Council. Once the Senate has appointed the generals, it can have no further direct influence over their decisions.
