Map to the City Below
Overview
The Map to the City Below is an Imperial title awarded to a citizen of the League. The motion to construct - and cede to Sung - the Chamber of Euphony was raised by Genoveva Barossa d'Apulian, as the Senator for Spiral, during the Spring Equinox 387YE.
The Map to the City Below has a responsibility to encourage the spread of magic, music, and mystery in Apulian, and oversees the Chamber of Euphony. The title was created as a result of an opportunity presented in the The play that came to Apulian wind of fortune.
Responsibilities
The Map to the City Below is responsible for encouraging the spread of magic, music, and mystery in Apulian. In addition, if the Chamber of Euphony were to come under threat, it would be the responsibility of the Map to the City Below to respond to those threats.

The Map to the City Below has access to a ministry, which allows the holder to purchase crystal fire at a set price. The Chamber of Euphony is visited by several heralds of the Spiral Dancer, and they are willing to sell shards of the dark mineral. The Map to the City Below makes their decision on how much money to spend during downtime from their character page. Money is removed from, and vis is placed into, the character's inventory when the downtime is processed.
Effigy of the Night Singer
The Map to the City Below also receives an ambergelt effigy each season that can be used to submit a question to Sung, using the ritual Clear Counsel of the Everflowing River.
Appointment
The Map to the City Below is a national position which is appointed by judgement of the League Assembly.
The Map to the City Below is appointed during the Spring Equinox each year. They can be revoked by the General Assembly, the League Assembly, and the Assembly of the Nine.
