Rebeshof Roadwarden

Overview

The Rebeshof Roadwarden was created when the Imperial Senate voted to construct the Lakesedge Highway during the Autumn Equinox 385YE, following an opportunity presented that season. Construction was completed shortly before the Winter Solstice 385YE.

Responsibilities

The Rebeshof Roadwarden is responsible for maintaining the road between the city of Holberg and the shores of the Semmerlak and keeping it, and the merchants using it, safe. If the road or the merchants were to be threatened in any way, it would be the responsibility of the Roadwarden to deal with those threats.

Powers

Roadwarden's Toll

The Rebeshof Roadwarden receives an income of 12 crowns, 10 true vervain, and 10 Imperial roseweald each season from the tolls for use of the road.

Appointment

The Rebeshof Roadwarden is appointed by unanimous decision of the senators of the League. If a unanimous decision cannot be reached, the title may be appointed by the Imperial Senate instead.

The title can only be held by a citizen of the League. The Roadwarden is appointed annually, during the Autumn Equinox. They can be revoked by the General Assembly, the League National Assembly, and by the Assembly of the Nine.
