Hartford Brewmaster

Overview

The Hartford Brewmaster is an Imperial title awarded to a citizen of the Marches. The motion to construct the Hartford Brewery was passed by the Imperial Senate in Autumn 386YE. The Hartford Brewmaster is responsible for ensuring good practice by the brewers of Stockland and protecting Hartford Brewery.

Responsibilities

The Hartford Brewmaster has a responsibility to ensure that good practices are met by the brewers of Stockland. In addition, if the Hartford Brewery, its workers, or its customers were to be threatened in any way, it would be the responsibility of the Brewmaster to deal with those threats.

The Hartford Brewmaster receives a total of one throne, six crowns, and eight rings each season from the brewery.

Appointment

The Hartford Brewmaster is appointed by unanimous decision of the Marches senators. If a unanimous decision cannot be reached, the title may be appointed by the Imperial Senate instead.

The title can be held by a Marcher citizen. The Brewmaster has tenure and serves until they die, step down, are successfully challenged, or are revoked. They can be revoked by the General Assembly, the Marcher National Assembly, and by the Assembly of the Nine.
