Herald of the Throne of Glory

Overview

This title is appointed by the Dawnish Assembly

The Herald of the Throne of Glory is an Imperial title awarded to a citizen of Dawn. The motion to create the title was proposed by Tristan duLac, as the Senator for Weirwater, during the Spring Equinox 388YE.

Responsibilities

The Herald of the Throne of Glory is ultimately responsible for supporting the Dawnish National Assembly. They are responsible for chairing the meetings of the National Assembly, encouraging Dawnish members of the Synod to vote on judgements, and also for crowning the Monarch of Dawn. The Herald also serves as custodian of the Throne Room of the Castle of Thorns. If the Throne Room were to be somehow threatened, or more likely those who visit it, it would be the responsibility of the Herald to deal with those threats.

Appointment

The Herald is a national position which is appointed by judgement of the Dawnish Assembly.

The Herald is appointed during the Summer Solstice each year. They can be revoked by the General Assembly, the Dawnish Assembly, and the Assembly of the Nine.
