The Oathwright Press is a printing press in Cevia, Cascatas, Tassato that works for the guild of the same name. The white granite building nestled among other residential houses dominates this side of Ceivas’ park, the opposite side from which a local tavern operates its business. The building itself resembles two conjoined white granite stone buildings that sit over its basement built into the slope of the land. This enables ox cart access to the basement at the rear via a stone tunnel that also serves as a balcony for the ground floor. On the street side as people enter the building there is a shinney brass plaque that reads, ‘this building was built and funded by Prince Ergot di Cevia in association with Otmar van Holberg of Holberg’ of Adelaarsbank
The main printing press machines noisily fill the basement area muffled to the street level due to the soil bank and thick stone walls. While the ground floor above serves as offices for the staff that come and go between the seasons. Various portraits are hung around this wood lined rooms with little brass plaques beneath each. Of note are the following: Prince Ergot Di Cevia Founder of the Oathwright Press 380YE, Editor of the Oathwright Cormack Dun, Editor of the Oathspike Karrak, Dagmar of the Lewd Parchments, Cerinthe of House Mortere, Bloodcrow Gol son of Ergot, Casimir Pakkanovic Mislova - Conclave Columnist, John Killinghall of Mournwold Merchant - Bourse Columnist and Iron Osric - Military Council correspondent.
The first and second floors serve as housing of local staff guests and on one side the print master and family. This side also hosts the print masters meeting room above which hangs a framed manuscript that reads, ‘Callidus endorses the Oathwright as the only newspaper worth reading in the Known World. All other newspapers should tremble before the journalistic integrity of Cormack Dunn. The editor and his band of artists of the written word should be considered to be the utmost professionals. Any who would think to read lesser rags that pollute the minds of mortals should rethink their decisions in life, Callidus, Prince of the Argent Tontine’-->
