The Oathwright Press
The Oathwright Press is a printing press in Cevia that serves the guild of the same name. The building, embellished with white granite pillars, is nestled among other residential houses bordering Cevia's park. As visitors enter the building, they are greeted by a plaque that reads, "This building was built and funded by Prince Ergot di Cevia in association with Otmar van Holberg of Adelaarsbank".
The main printing press machines noisily fill the basement, muffled to the street level due to the soil bank and thick stone walls, whilst the ground floor above serves as offices for the staff that come and go over the year. A variety of portraits depicting several individuals who contribute to the Oathwright are hung around these wood-lined rooms, with brass plaques denoting who they represent. In pride of place among these portraits is one of Bloodcrow Gol, son of Ergot.
The first floor serves as housing for local staff and guests, whilst the second floor is reserved for use by the Printmaster and their family. One large room is set aside for meetings hosted by the Printmaster, above which hangs a framed manuscript that reads, "Callidus endorses the Oathwright as the only newspaper worth reading in the Known World. All other newspapers should tremble before the journalistic integrity of Cormack Dunn. The editor and his band of artists of the written word should be considered to be the utmost professionals. Any who would think to read lesser rags that pollute the minds of mortals should rethink their decisions in life. —Callidus, Prince of the Argent Tontine."
