Custodian of Bones
Overview
The Custodian of Bones is an Imperial title awarded to a citizen of Wintermark. The announcement to construct the dolmen was made by Logan Dunning, as the Bearer of an Imperial Wayleave, in Spring 387YE. The Custodian of Bones is responsible for protecting the hylje who seek the bones of Imperial Orcs in the Rikkivesi.
The opportunity to construct the marker dolmen was offered to Raal Dunn, the Mediator of Hyljehal, by Koskinen, the son of one of the Hylje's leaders, by letter.
Responsibilities
The Custodian of Bones is responsible for protecting the hylje who seek the bones of Imperial Orcs in the Rikkivesi. In addition, if the marker dolmen were to be threatened in any way, it would be the responsibility of the Custodian to deal with those threats.

The Custodian of Bones receives nine mana crystals each season.
Appointment
The Custodian of Bones is appointed by unanimous decision of Wintermark senators. If a unanimous decision cannot be reached, the title may be appointed by the Imperial Senate instead.
The title can be held by a Wintermark citizen. The Custodian has tenure and serves until they die, step down, are successfully challenged, or are revoked. They can be revoked by the General Assembly, the Wintermark National Assembly, and by the Assembly of the Nine.
