Custodian of the Shchaslyvyy Spile
Overview
The Custodian of the Shchaslyvyy Spile is an Imperial title awarded to a Varushkan citizen. Announced by Borys Vardovich Straskovich, the Boyar of the Iron Roads, in Spring 386YE in Ossium, the Shchaslyvyy Outpost Sappery enables the Custodian to purchase mana crystals via a ministry.
The Shchaslyvyy Outpost was founded in Drownbark Forest soon after Ossium became part of Varushka. Bringing their old Navarri techniques, the now Varushkan loggers would regularly sweeten their food with the sap from the maples. In one grove of trees, about which various legends abound, the sap would sometimes crystallise and harden, producing usable mana. In Spring 386YE, the Vardovich came to ward the road to the grove, and forged a number of mithril spiles.
Responsibilities
The Custodian has a responsibility to protect those who live within Shchaslyvyy Outpost. In addition, if the Spile or the traders who travel there were to be threatened in any way, it would be the responsibility of the Custodian to deal with those threats.

As a ministry, the title of Custodian of the Shchaslyvyy Spile allows the holder to purchase quantities of mana crystals at a set price. The Custodian makes their decision on how much money to spend during downtime from their character page. Money is removed from, and resources are placed into, the character's inventory when the downtime is processed.
Appointment
This title is appointed during the Summer Solstice by Varushkans who control forest and mine personal resources. The larger the forest or mine an individual has, the more votes they can allocate in support to a candidate. The voting is handled by the civil servants in the Bourse.
Only a Varushkan character may hold this title. They do not receive a seat on the Bourse. As a title appointed through the Bourse, they cannot be revoked by the Synod.
