Thorn's Mark

Description

The Thorn's Mark is potentially deadly in the hands of both Kallavesi and Steinr warriors. The schema was purchased from the eternal Estavus as part of her offer to the mediators of Wintermark. Originally known as the Eagles Talon the spear was renamed by the Steinr runesmith Derowen Voice of the Forge when she passed the schema to Sulkavaris to be added to Runesmith's Law.

Rules

• Form: Weapon. Takes the form of a one-handed spear. You must be wielding this weapon to use its magical properties.
• Requirement: You must have the weapon master skill to bond to this item.
• Effect: Twice per day you may call STRIKEDOWN with this one-handed spear.
• Materials: Crafting the Thorn's Mark requires twelve ingots of green iron, eight measures of ambergelt, seven ingots of tempest jade, and three ingots of orichalcum. It takes one month to make one of these items.

Runesmith's Law

This magic item is part of Runesmith's Law rather than Imperial Lore. Any Wintermark character with the artisan skill can learn to make this item. Before they are able to do so they must swear a powerful geas, and if they later leave the nation they lose the ability to make this item.
