Crew:The Plotmatron
Practically every plot will have an encounter on the plotmatron (potentially several.) In addition to making things run on time, it will help you set out everything you need in one place. Sometimes the database falls over so it’s wise to keep a backup.
Once you have the crew permission, go to the new “Crew” tab on the Empire website
Then click: Plot > New Encounter > and work your way through the tabs.
For the Synoposis and Overview ideally give a short description of the encounter, and put further details under the relevant briefs. Imagine you’re an NPC trying to quickly decide if the role is right for you, or someone trying to answer a query about the encounter at the event (or years later!) The Accessibility tab is most used for encounters off-Anvil, but could be worth filling in anyway.

Once the encounter is made you can go to the Briefs tab to add information for the NPC team, as well as field NPCs like egregores, civil servants, and magistrates as relevant. Field NPCs get a print out of relevant briefs at the event and are generally very happy to help spread plot around.
If your plot has multiple encounters at the event these must be entered separately. “Anvil Visit, Part 1,” “Anvil Visit, Part 2,” and so on.
