Overview
While the League used to field a second army, the Towerjacks, that army ceased to exist in 346YE when its officers and soldiers dedicated themselves to the defence of their home territory (Holberg). While they were active, the Towerjacks were known for their expertise at siege warfare. With the liberation of Holberg, the officers of the Towerjacks let it be known that they were prepared to return to active duty, provided they could be returned to full strength. A motion before the Senate during the Summer Solstice 379YE gained permission to reinstate the Towerjacks. When their resupply and recruitment are complete, a new general was appointed in Winter 379YE.
The second League General leads the Towerjacks army, and is appointed (or re-appointed) at the Winter Solstice each year.

In Summer 383YE, along with the Wolves of War, the 'Jacks were instrumental in driving the eternal Llofir out of Reikos. The Lord of Rot had claimed the region of Tamarbode, transforming it into a "garden" of mushrooms, fungus, and less identifiable things. They claimed they were content with that garden, taken as payment for helping remove Druj taint from the territory, but there were suspicions the eternal had more insidious plans. In the end, the 'Jacks were called on to help destroy the magical citadel raised by the Ender of Empires. With the aid of the Highborn garrison of Remember Exile, the League armies were victorious and Llofir forced to withdraw its presence back to the Spring realm. The soldiers of the Towerjacks were originally raised to take advantage of their expertise in siege tactics. Following an opportunity in Spring 384YE, and the Towerjacks having returned to Holberg in triumph through the Holmauer Gate, they are the Empire's only engineer army.
