Judgement TBC

  • Assembly: TBC
  • Raised By: TBC
  • Judgement: TBC
  • Outcome: TBC (TBC - TBC)

Mandate

The following mandates were passed during the Spring Equinox. Where there are competing mandates, the one that passes with the largest margin is successful and all other competing mandates are considered to have failed.

Judgement 12

  • Assembly: Highguard National
  • Raised By: Lina of Felix's Watch
  • Judgement: All that is worthwhile is shared with those who deserve it. Let us open our doors to those Urizeni who have lost everything and give them a home until the day comes when they can return. We send Lina with 25 liao to bring those who have lost everything to Reikos where they can be given succor until the Druj menace is no more.
  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (521 - 20). Enacted. Urizeni refugees are offered sanctuary in Reikos.
  • Notes: The opportunity is detailed here

Judgement 14

  • Assembly: General Assembly
  • Raised By: Rafael Barossa di Tassato
  • Judgement: The works of Almodin Oktístis are an affront to the dignity of the Empire; they denigrate our truth faith and demean the Pride of Imperial citizens. We send (named priest) with 50 liao to lead Imperial citizens to destroy these statues. Let us follow the example of Ivarsgard and create a lasting covenant to show the world the fate of all false religions.
  • Outcome: Upheld (742 - 646; margin 96). Enacted. This mandate will inspire architects, masons, and builders to force their way into the buildings designed by the Asavean priest. The images of false gods will be carefully and meticulously removed and then repurposed in such a way as to provide a lasting symbol of opposition for the Asaveans and their faith.
  • Notes: The opportunity is detailed here

Judgement 15

  • Assembly: Highguard National
  • Raised By: Yarona of the Chantry
  • Judgement: The Way of Virtue is the faith of the Empire. The strength of our true faith is what makes the Empire powerful. We send Kerem of the Chantry with 25 liao to urge the grey pilgrims to bring all humanity to the true faith but to leave the orcs to find their own way across the abyss.
  • Outcome: Upheld (489 - 54). Enacted. Urges the Grey Pilgrims to avoid trying to spread the Way to the barbarian or foreign orcs.
  • Notes: The opportunity is detailed here

Judgement 16

  • Assembly: Dawn National
  • Raised By: Ser Ancél Watcher
  • Judgement: The taint of the Druj spills forth from the pillars they have constructed with their foul magic, choking the thirst for glory with fear and dread. We send Ser Ancél Watcher with 25 doses of liao to urge troubadours and questing knights to seek out the source of this vile corruption
  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (134 - 0). Enacted. Tracks down miasma pillars in Ossium.
  • Notes: The opportunity is detailed here

Judgement 20

  • Assembly: Imperial Orc National
  • Raised By: Skywise Tulva
  • Judgement: The orcs freed from bondage in Dubhtraig are not yet safe. They have heard our invitation, and sought to reach us, but now they are scattered across the Empire alone and afraid. In the name of Prosperity, we send Skywise Tulva with 25 doses of liao to urge every Imperial Orc to put their hand in their pocket to ensure that those endeavouring to bring them home to us receive the just reward for their labours.
  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (100 - 0). Enacted. Provides rewards to those helping to bring lost orcs to Skarsind at the cost of Imperial Orcs production.
  • Notes: The opportunity is detailed here

Judgement 22

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Iriva Vasilova Pakov
  • Judgement: The works of Almodin Oktístis are an affront to the dignity of the Empire; they denigrate our truth faith and demean the Pride of Imperial citizens. We send (named priest) with 50 liao to lead Imperial citizens to destroy these statues. Let us follow the example of Ivarsgard and create a lasting covenant to show the world the fate of all false religions.
  • Outcome: Not upheld (413 - 558).
  • Notes: The opportunity is detailed here.

Judgement 23

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Chainbreaker Snark
  • Judgement: The works of Almodin Oktístis are an affront to the dignity of the Empire, they denigrate our true faith, and demean the Pride of any being that sees them, including the Asaveans themselves, who have lost the understanding of their spirit to decadence and idolatry. We send (named priest) with 75 liao to destroy these statues, and offer the Asavean priests - by their will or by blade - a second chance at Salvation.
  • Outcome: Not upheld (117 - 1104).
  • Notes: The opportunity is detailed here.

Judgement 56

  • Assembly: League National
  • Raised By: Astrid Fjellrevening Rezia di Tassato
  • Judgement: Lorenzo Macelliao von Temeschwar is a true inspiration, and the colossus of Sarvos serves as an inspiration to the virtuous people of the League. The Imperial synod sends Astrid Fjellrevening Rezia di Tassato with one dose of true liao to consecrate the colossus to the virtue of Pride in recognition of its inspirational nature.
  • Outcome: Upheld (122-34). Astrid Fjellrevening Rezia di Tassato consecrated the Colossus with a dose of true liao.
  • Notes: The opportunity is detailed here

Judgement 78

  • Assembly: Pride Virtue
  • Raised By: Ubarius of Invidia Citadel
  • Judgement: The works of Almodin Oktístis are an affront to the dignity of the Empire; they denigrate our truth faith and demean the Pride of Imperial citizens. We send Ubarius of Invidia with 50 liao to lead Imperial citizens to destroy these statues. Let us follow the example of Ivarsgard and create a lasting covenant to show the world the fate of all false religions.
  • Outcome: Upheld (108 - 97; margin 11). This mandate was in competition with Judgement 14. The latter judgement gained a greater margin and will be the one enacted.
  • Notes: The opportunity is detailed here

Judgement 79

  • Assembly: Marches National
  • Raised By: Friar John of the Mourn
  • Judgement: Any Imperial soldier who is here to defend the land will always find a bed and a meal is available to them for a night's rest. But those who are able and willing to work as best they can may stay a while longer. We send Friar John of the Mourn with 100 doses of liao to encourage Marchers to share their Prosperity with those Imperials who deserve it.
  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (96 - 0). Enacted. Allows any Imperial army to take the new billet order in Marcher territory with access to the Imperial Breadbasket.
  • Notes: The opportunity is detailed here

Judgement 82

  • Assembly: Brass Coast National
  • Raised By: Luis i Guerra
  • Judgement: Armies require mithril, and the Burning Falcon is no exception. Mithril is expensive and in short supply. The Freeborn look to the example of the Corsairs to guide the way. Our enemies have mithril aplenty, and it is only right that we take it from them and use it to raise an army against them. We send Luis i Guerra with 50 doses of liao to urge the soldiers of the Red Wind Corsairs and the Fire of the South to find the mithril we need to restore the Burning Falcon!
  • Outcome: Upheld with a greater majority (166 - 0). Enacted. For the next year the general of the Fire of the South can issue the Plunder order in addition to the normal orders they can issue. If they do use this order, or if the Red Wind Corsairs use their Daring Raid order, they are likely to see a small increase in the amount of resources they take and they will be significantly more likely to acquire mithril rather than either weirwood or white granite as part of the spoils they receive.
  • Notes: The opportunity is detailed here

Judgement 100

  • Assembly: Varushka National
  • Raised By: Raskylov
  • Judgement: The wealth of our nation lies in the hills and forests, and in the hands of those who work them. We send Raskylov with 50 doses of liao to encourage those who seek prosperity for themselves and their nation to look to the riches that lie in the mines and forests.
  • Outcome: Upheld with Primacy (172 - 0). Enacted. Has several effects including urging Varushka to embrace farms and mines. A story has been included The Treasure on the Mountains, by Doubravka Nadjaovna Vanek.
  • Notes: The opportunity is detailed here

Judgement 102

  • Assembly: Pride Virtue
  • Raised By: Vasili Zoryakovich Zverokaz
  • Judgement: We the Pride Assembly send Vasili Zoryakovich Zverokaz to Ossium with 75 doses of liao to preach that "The virtues inspire others to greatness; they do not demean them."
  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (227 - 0). Enacted. If enacted, the named priest will approach the population of Ossium to speak to them about the virtue of Pride.
  • Notes: The opportunity is detailed here

Judgement 112

  • Assembly: Urizen National
  • Raised By: Aurum of the Nightingale Temple
  • Judgement: No-one knows when Zenith will be liberated, we must help those who have lost everything, until the time comes to fight back. We send Aurum of the Nightingale Temple with 25 liao to urge everyone to take in the refugees and help them build a new life in Morrow and Redoubt.
  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (129-0). Enacted. Refugees from Zenith will settle in Redoubt and Morrow.
  • Notes: The opportunity is detailed here

Judgement 122

  • Assembly: Assembly of the Nine
  • Raised By: Onan of the Chantry
  • Judgement: The Grey Pilgrims will help spread the Way and weed out the corruption of false beliefs in the Empire. We send Lilith of the Chantry with 25 liao to spread the news that the pilgrims enjoy the support and blessing of this assembly.
  • Outcome: Upheld with a greater majority (7 - 0). Enacted. Encourages Imperial citizens to accept the sermons of the grey pilgrims which would make their mission more effective, but also reminds the pilgrims that they act with the blessing of the Imperial Synod - and that the guidance of the Synod is available to them when needed.

Evaluation

The Synod made the following judgements of excommunication, inquisition, revocation, and sanction.

Judgement 3

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Maarit Suvidottir
  • Judgement: Sanction:Penance. The escalation of Medea Ruth from the Inquisition of Winter 382. 1) To accept the clemency pleas that was submitted for her in trial. 2) To go on a pilgrimage somewhere she judges will help inspire her. 3) To write monographs on the following subjects: Alienism, Field Surgery, Brain Surgery, Horses, Care of Dogs, and Virtue. And file them with relevant experts, authorities, libraries, or safe places to preserve them. 4) To accept and have pride in her merrow lineage as best she can. 5) To perform her hospital duties as virtuously as she can. 6) While all citizens should be vigilant for actions of the Whisper gallery, to give it extra attention for the duration of performing her lawful criminal sentence.
  • Outcome: Upheld (1024 - 103)

Judgement 7

  • Assembly: Pride
  • Raised By: Lev Unbound
  • Judgement: Inquisition. I call to Inquisition Jaylus, Ephrael, Mordecai, Levi, and Kerioth of the Zephaniah's Lament chapter. The Inquisition shall be conducted this Saturday at two in the afternoon in the Highguard chapel.
  • Outcome: Upheld (171 - 0)

Judgement 21

  • Assembly: Varushka National
  • Raised By: Zlatko Samovich Bojek
  • Judgement: Revocation. To remove Akstis Eigulys due to inability to perform duties as General of the Northern Eagle this summit.
  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (144 - 0)

Judgement 24

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Chainbreaker Snark
  • Judgement: Sanction:Penance. Jarrigk Orzel has worked well in making trade and relations flourish and still says that his contact with the Asaveans has not shaken his faith. I call upon the Orzel noble to look to the Pride of his house and "prove it". Take a congregation and denounce the Asavean gods.
  • Outcome: Upheld (467 - 463)

Judgement 41

  • Assembly: Nine
  • Raised By: Hywel Summercrow
  • Judgement: Revocation. The Assembly of Nine revokes the Ambassador to Faraden, Gonzalo i Riqueza for complete dereliction of his duty to the Empire.
  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (8 - 0). Primacy.

Judgement 42

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Vindictus
  • Judgement: Inquisition. Virtue Inquisitor of Vigilance requests Volfe Stormchaser for Inquisition for a lack of Penance adherence. Saturday, five in the afternoon, Ashen Hall.
  • Outcome: Upheld (674 - 10).

Judgement 45

  • Assembly: Prosperity
  • Raised By: Titus i Erigo
  • Judgement: Inquisition. The Prosperity assembly called Heilyn of Bronwen's Rest to inquisition regarding the increased prosperity drawn from the limited funds bequeathed to them. The inquisition will take place at the hub at four in the afternoon.
  • Outcome: Upheld (138 - 0).

Judgement 46

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Medea Ruth
  • Judgement: Inquisition. Medea Ruth was found to be under an aura of the false virtue of Hatred. Whilst under this aura, I preached Hatred, blasphemy, and acted objectionably to Imperial Orcs and their sympathisers. Inquisition five in the afternoon Saturday.
  • Outcome: Upheld (533 - 215).

Judgement 47

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Veikko Bondforger
  • Judgement: Inquisition. I summon Qusay i Kalamar i Guerra to Inquisition at the Hub at three in the afternoon on the Saturday of the Summer Solstice 383YE regarding his involvement with the Iron Quanat, Lorenzo's Great Game, and the Spiral Sword runeforge, all works of the idolater Almodin Oktístis.
  • Outcome: Upheld (1049- 10). Closed early.

Judgement 58

  • Assembly: Pride
  • Raised By: Rane Sherarding
  • Judgement: Sanction: Penance. Escalation of Judgement 61, Winter 382. "The virtuous apply what they have learned" only for this do I not seek harsher sanction. Franco i Erigo declined to enact his mandate as new knowledge reached him. This was Wisdom. While the Synod must change and adapt to knowledge, and priests not be unduly punished for acting in virtue, the vote of the Synod was still overruled. The Synod must be vigilant in its approach to foreigners and Foreign Affairs. I send Franco to collect a story from each Imperial Ambassador, whatever tale they choose of Vigilance in their work so he may learn. These must be written, with a foreword of explanation and lessons learnt by Franco, and by the end of Spring 384 place as a book in the Library, or in my hand for appropriate distribution, or with the Inquisitor of Pride in my absence. The cooperation of the Ambassadors is Franco's responsibility I cannot and do not compel them. If the like of this happens again I would press for harsh judgements.
  • Outcome: Upheld (265 - 10).

Judgement 67

  • Assembly: Wisdom
  • Raised By: Galene Netherwatch
  • Judgement: Inquisition. I call to Inquisition Tomislav Schoric at seven in the afternoon at the Vor'Azi in Varushka, about the use of his Bourse seat.
  • Outcome: Upheld (66 - 0).

Judgement 71

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Theodoius of the Spire of the Enduring Refuge
  • Judgement: Inquisition. Sophus of the Celestial Cascade is called to an Inquisition in the Civil Service hub at one in the afternoon on Sunday, regarding the circumstances leading to his coming into possession of the blasphemous publication "The Righteous Auras of Justice".
  • Outcome: Upheld (533 - 0).

Judgement 83

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Solas
  • Judgement: Sanction: Condemnation. We condemn Medea Ruth of Irremais Spire for abuse of powers; no individual should be able to write themselves a vindication, thus no priest should raise a judgement of inquisition against themselves.
  • Outcome: Upheld (862 - 184).

Judgement 86

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Medea Ruth
  • Judgement: Sanction: Condemnation. Following inquisition, Medea Ruth is found to have committed a religious crime of heresy. While under a strong malign aura that influenced her actions, she preached Hatred. We ask that this is taken into consideration by the magistrates but we have no choice but to condemn. Written by Skywise Tulva.
  • Outcome: Upheld (679 - 252).

Judgement 87

  • Assembly: Prosperity
  • Raised By: Cesare Enzo di Trivento
  • Judgement: Sanction: Vindication. The assembly of Prosperity of the Imperial synod after due inquisition commend the works of Esteban Del Rio Blanco I Guerra in his conduct and management of the Dubhtraig raid. We find his actions emulate the exemplar Zemress, Blade of the isles, in effecting militant warfare against the Grendel and in bringing just reward for the labours of all who contributed.
  • Outcome: Upheld (58 - 0).

Judgement 92

  • Assembly: Highborn National
  • Raised By: Jared of the Suns of Couros
  • Judgement: Inquisition. That Sister Lilith of the Chantry be inquisited on her virtue and example as a Grey Pilgrim of Highguard at the Saturday of the Summer Solstice 383YE at two in the afternoon at the Highguard chapel.
  • Outcome: Upheld (471 - 46).

Judgement 94

  • Assembly: Vaushka National

  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (162 - 0).

Judgement 99

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Vindictus of the Shattered Tower
  • Judgement: Sanction: Penance. Following the Inquisition of Volfe Stormchaser he was found to have performed insufficient actions for his penance to be lifted and must continue to pursue the guidance of the penance.
  • Outcome: Upheld (880 - 42).

Judgement 107

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Rafael Barossa i Tassato
  • Judgement: Inquisition. The Auditor of Senatorial Accountability calls Giuseppe Sanguineo von Temeschwar, Senator for Temeschwar, to Inquisition at eight in the evening on Friday of the Summer Solstice 383YE in the Hub, that he may account for his actions regarding the blasphemous idols of Almodin Oktistis.
  • Outcome: Automatically Upheld.

Judgement 109

  • Assembly: Pride
  • Raised By: Lev Unbound
  • Judgement: Sanction: Castigation. Jaylus, Ephrael, Kerioth, and Levi are castigated for their actions towards the Looking Glass. Branding people for who they are rather than their actions is an affront to Pride.
  • Outcome: Upheld (201 - 0).

Judgement 111

  • Assembly: Highguard National
  • Raised By: Yarona of the Chantry
  • Judgement: Sanction: Vindication. Following thorough and probing inquisition by Yarona of the Chantry, we the Highborn assembly call for the vindication of Tolamy regarding his actions in saving the injured at Atheneum Spire, Morrow. His actions were illegal, and he has been tried and convicted accordingly. This inquisition was concerned not with legality, but with Virtue. We find him to have acted courageously when face with Great Peril and an impossible decision. We find him to have shown unwavering Loyalty in refusing to abandon his patients. We believe that not only did Tolamy's actions preserve life, they also safeguarded vulnerable souls from Druj interference. Yarona will offer Tolamy the testimony "steadfast guardian".
  • Outcome: Upheld (411 - 0).

Judgement 113

  • Assembly: Dawn National
  • Raised By: Lady Laudine du Lac
  • Judgement: Inquisition. I call to inquisition Scipio and Damien Thorne of House Minos to investigate their involvement in Imperial citizens aiding the Asaveans with fighting rebelling slaves who wee trying to regain their freedom. Summer Solstice, Friday, at eight in the evening.
  • Outcome: Upheld (56 - 10).

Judgement 116

  • Assembly: Loyalty
  • Raised By: Pan Edgestalker
  • Judgement: Inquisition. We call Cormack Dun, Editor of the Oathwright, to inquisition regarding his paper's statements on the recognition of Skywise Rykana, Exemplar of Wisdom. • Outcome: Upheld (109 - 0).

Judgement 125

  • Outcome: Automatically upheld; 7 Thrones provided by the Tribune.

Judgement 13

  • Assembly: General Assembly
  • Raised By: Genoveva Barossa di Tassato
  • Judgement: The loyalty of the Generals Barossa in creating and executing the strategy which prevented Morrow from being over-run by the Druj has been recognised by the Synod (Judgement 41 Winter 383) and the commission of a School of War has been proposed by Nares of Urizen in gratitude for their work. We wish to celebrate these virtuous acts by rewarding General Gabriel Barossa with 30 Thrones from the virtue fund on behalf of myself and General Natalia Barossa in order that one of the options presented by Nares may be built.
  • Outcome: Upheld (721 - 290). 30 Thrones provided by the Tribune.

Judgement 17

  • Assembly: General Assembly
  • Raised By: Chauntecleeer Words
  • Judgement: Further to the successful Judgement 7 last summit, a further 40 Thrones is sought by Chauntecleer to purchase the remaining materials reqired to construct a brokerage for the purposes of establishing a supply of liao to Surrani followers of the Way. We believe we should be seeing to ai them, reiforce their faith, and bring Salvation to others in the Confederacy. However, we are not blind to the political situation with our neighbours, and have already made a commitment to the Throne not to attempt to commission this work through the Senate without their approval. We would however suggest that were the brokerages to be built now, an the appointment of their overseer be via the Throne then their functioning could still await the Throne's discetion - but allow for their immediate utilisation without the elay from construction; should the situation with our neighbours change; for better or worse. Although not currently illegal to operate these facilities, we acknowleddge the spirit of te treaty and the inflammatory possibility of flaunting it. We counsel to be patient, but not to forget.
  • Outcome: Not Upheld (216 - 485).

Judgement 60

  • Assembly: General Assembly
  • Raised By: Ain
  • Judgement: Civil war was averted and slavery was ended in Axos thanks, in part, to funds from the Synod virtue fund provided to the Overseer of the Cavabianca Docks. The Synod rewards 22 Thrones to the overseer to continue this work in other slaving nations.
  • Outcome: Upheld (928 - 108). 22 Thrones provided by the Tribune.

Judgement 69

  • Assembly: General Assembly
  • Raised By: Steve Hart
  • Judgement: I would like it to be recognised how Abbott Thomas has shown his commitment to the virtues and how he has not used the Singing Caves for his own use and used it for the Marchers to enlarge the Drakes and the better of the Marches and upheld a deal with the orcs. I wish we can reward him with 4 Crowns.
  • Outcome: Upheld (409 - 92). 4 Crowns provided by the Tribune.
