They appear to be idolising Yaw'nagrah and are lead by a charismatic leader. I ask you to find all you can on them, including who leads them, how they have come to be, their previous location and reach, and how we could stop them and their work.
  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (5 - 0)

Judgement 95

  • Assembly: Nine
  • Raised By: Viviane de Courdefer
  • Judgement: Ambition's burning flame ascends to Frederick's legacy - he wants to build. For me he calls to set guiding light, a clarion call to all I say so shall I be.

Granite white is precious rare. Too many ways to use it all. So says Wisdom's counting Throne. What will it cost?
What will your greatest work, created by my will cost the Empire in exchange? This then we need - I need.
I need to know what one creation is greater yet than all that part-completed stand?
Can Frederick defeat time's hungry grasp?
Give to me your knowledge and your art.
Give to me your tomorrows all your skill; a world of learning, to rebuild our long-lost legacy.
Those who learn not, those who forget, are doomed to live again our pain. So let us learn and let us grow.
Build me wonder, build me song, build me college universal; let our spirits leave this world but not our skill. Bring students and bring scholars. Bring all our minds together, inspirational.
So shall it be, to all I say - a clarion call for empire's good; for virtue guards our souls. Ambition's flame will always forge tomorrow greater than today.
I call for designs for ten library-colleges, one in every nation, to store duplicate books; and to teach students of the Way, or war, of history and the past, of architecture for the future - and for Frederick to teach as Adelmar the lion did; that knowledge be built higher and future generations have to tools the build even greater.

Evaluation

The Synod made the following judgements of excommunication, inquisition, revocation, and sanction.

Judgement 3

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Veikko Bondforger
  • Judgement: Condemnation. Following the inquisition of the Asavean Architect Almodin Oktisis I conclude the following: the crime of idolatry is defined as worship, veneration or exaltation of any inhuman entity or force. That Oktisis is an idolater is not in question, he assured me quite unrepentantly that he would continue to use idolatrous imagery (hidden or otherwise) in structures of our Faith. That cannot be overlooked by the Synod, show duty is the preservation of the Way.
  • Outcome: Upheld (1129 - 10)

Judgement 9

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Ephron of Adina's Charge
  • Judgement: Excommunication. Aarne Ceorling betrayed the trust of his Gatekeeper office and of the Synod. He colluded with enemies of the Empire to advance the false virtue of "Justice" then killed himself before he could be condemned. This cannot be accepted. Let him be excommunicated posthumously that his name be known as an example of unvirtue for generations to come.
  • Outcome: Not upheld (1087 - 182, failing to achieve a Greater Majority)

Judgement 10

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Ephron of Adina's Charge
  • Judgement: Vindication. After inquisition Emilia Ankarien is found to have acted consistently with the Way of Virtue; no collusion with Wendigo was found.
  • Outcome: Upheld (909-0)

Judgement 16

  • Assembly: Wintermark National
  • Raised By: Beodun Snowlock

  • Outcome: Upheld (135-12)

Judgement 20

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Corwyn Leafstalker
  • Judgement: Inquisition. I've been hearing lots of rumours about Bohemond de Rondell having hit lists and conspiring against the Empress. I have talked to Bohemond and he has agreed I should inquisit him to find out what's up. I'm putting this through Synod instead of using my position's power as unless have good reason, Synod should always have its say. Location: New Promise Cartel, Brass Coast. Time: Five in the evening, Saturday. Thanks for your time.
  • Outcome: Upheld (678-0)

Judgement 32

  • Assembly: Nine
  • Raised By: Atla
  • Judgement: Revocation. To revoke the Conscience of the Senate, Mel of Bleak House Farm who has lost our confidence.
  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (9-0, Primacy )

Judgement 38

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Hazelponi of the Shattered Tower
  • Judgement: Inquisition. To inquisit Mel of the Mourn regarding the letters sent to people of the Empire - outside of the Synod - preaching potential heresy. Their message of all religions being true needs more scrutiny and their intent with such a message needs questioning. Inquisition will be at eight in the evening, Saturday, at the Shattered Tower tent, which will be protected.

Judgement 40

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Martin Orchard
  • Judgement: Vindication. Following the public inquisition of the Empress last summit the Inquisitorial Court is satisfied that her reign has been guided by virtue, and that she takes her dedication to Wisdom to heart when she acts. Anyone interested in discussing the questions posed may speak with the Imperial Inquisitor or Virtue Inquisitors, or myself.

  • Assembly: Brass Coast Assembly
  • Raised By: Mazo i Zabala i Erigo

  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (82 - 0)

Judgement 55

  • Assembly: General

Judgement 58

  • Assembly: Prosperity Virtue
  • Raised By: Kareem of the Chantry
  • Judgement: Vindication. After a thorough investigation into the use of Bourse resources by Tomasz Strascovich, I find him to embody Prosperity in his actions. He is therefore vindicated.
  • Outcome: Upheld (98 - 0)

Judgement 67

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Corwyn Leafstalker
  • Judgement: Vindication. Regarding the Inquisition of Bohemond de Rondell, through investigation and inquisition I find it very unlikely that the alleged "kill list" ever existed. Bohemond appears to be competent and if he were to be assassinating fellow citizens I don't believe he'd be so sloppy to get caught this way. As regards the public statement of him working against the Empress on the matter under consideration at the time he was. However I do not currently believe he is a threat to the Empress or Empire. Having said all that Bohemond is a smooth operator and I suspect entirely capable of pleading clemency for killing his parents on grounds of being an orphan. I rather like the man.
  • Outcome: Upheld (629 - 104)

Judgement 74

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Yarona of the Chantry
  • Judgement: Vindication. We, the General Assemby, find that Pavel of Varushka is vindicated in his actions when dealing with the heralds of Wendigo that appeared in Anvil. He showed Vigilance and Loyalty to the Empire by ensuring their swift removal.

Judgement 75

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Lilith of the Chantry
  • Judgement: Vindication. We find Solomon of the Shattered Tower to be vindicated in his actions when dealing with the Heralds of Wendigo. Our inquisition showed his actions to be virtuous, showing Vigilance and Loyalty to the Empire.
  • Outcome: Upheld (788 - 0)

Judgement 77

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Yarona of the Chantry
  • Judgement: Inquisition. I, Yarona, call Tarquinius of Urizen to Inquisition regarding his excommunication by the Sumaah priests in Anvil last summit. Chantry tent, Highguard, 9pm next summit.

  • Outcome: Upheld (52 - 0)

Judgement 86

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Hazeleponi
  • Judgement: Condemnation. Mel of the Mourn is found to have deliberately subverted the agency of the Synod in promoting of the false doctrine that all religions are true. This is found to be heresy.
  • Outcome: Upheld (895-335)

Judgement 90

  • Assembly: Marcher National
  • Raised By: Anna Perrin
  • Judgement: Revocation. We the Marchers wish to revoke the current Friar of Honour's Rest as they are not present at this summit and there are ghosts that need laying to rest this seaon.
  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (74 - 0, Primacy)

Judgement 92

  • Assembly: Marcher National
  • Raised By: Martin Orchard
  • Judgement: Penance. Mel of Bleak House Farm accepts that they were foolish to pose questions of theology to layfolk, although there was no intent to teach these questions as doctrine. They seek to act on what they have learned, and accept their due chastisement. Firstly, they shall write letter explaining their errors, and exhorting others to follow the correct path to debate theology. Second, they will place a Brand of Irremais on themselves as a reminder of the lesson they have learned.
