Bohemond appears to be competent an if he were to be assassinating fellow citizens I don't believe he'd be so sloppy to get caught this way. As regards the public statement of him working against the Empress on the matter under consideration at the time he was. However I do not currently believe he is a threat to the Empress or Empire. Having said all that Bohemond is a smooth operator and I suspect entirely capable of pleading clemency for killing his parents on grounds of being an orphan. I rather like the man.

Overview

During the Autumn Equinox 382YE Summit, the Imperial Synod raised 96 judgements.

Change of doctrine

No change of doctrine was proposed during the Autumn Equinox summit.

Veto

The veto was not sought during the Autumn Equinox 382YE.

Statement of principle

The following statements of principle were presented to the assemblies of the Imperial Synod. Fourteen of these statements achieved a Greater Majority, meaning they will be distributed to appropriate assemblies.

Judgement 12

  • Assembly: Urizen National
  • Raised By: Aspar
  • Judgement: All Urizeni should follow the example set by Sulemaine and take up arms against the Druj. All who can hold a weapon must fight, all who cannot must help whoever they can.
  • Outcome: Upheld (60-19)

Judgement 19

  • Assembly: Dawn National
  • Raised By: Ser Thomas Aurelius
  • Judgement: Acts of Glory do not begin and end on the battlefield, we can serve as an inspiration to the people when we recover our strength: practice music, produce art, tell tales, sing songs, love deeply! When we look to our heritage, look beyond the end of the rod or tip of the spear for we are the heart of the Empire - so we must spread love.
  • Outcome: Upheld (114-20)

Judgement 21

  • Assembly: Brass Coast National
  • Raised By: Hembeneth i Guerra
  • Judgement: The Brass Coast National Assembly supports Sagua i Ezmara in her efforts to retrieve the Ring of Atun which she hid for safekeeping in a past life. As a relic of the Brass Coast and Highguard history we consider it virtuous to assist Sagua in this endeavour. Learning from our history is an act of Wisdom and valuing our heritage is an act of Pride. Returning the ring to the Empire is an act of Loyalty.
  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (102 - 0)

Judgement 25

  • Assembly: Navarr National
  • Raised By: Aneira Exiles End
  • Judgement: We the Navarr assembly request the Grandmaster of the Sevenfold Path give Aneira Exiles End 30 mana to create three arcane projections. They are: Endless Walk Upon the Graven Mountain, Break the Green Shackles, Unleash the Suffocating Thirst of the Dark Hunt.
  • Outcome: Upheld (66 - 0)

Judgement 26

  • Assembly: Highguard National
  • Raised By: Kerem of the Chantry
  • Judgement: We, the National assembly, passed a mandate which will affect the Prosperity of many Highborn. it is now our loyal duty to share that burden. By voting "yes" to this motion you are pledging to give up a portion of your income to support those affected. Let us walk the path of Virtue together.
  • Outcome: Upheld (310 - 126)

Judgement 27

  • Assembly: Prosperity Virtue
  • Raised By: Lilith of the Chantry
  • Judgement: The Prosperity assembly recognises that the national mandates supporting the Highborn pilgrimage are highly prosperous.
  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (140 - 12)

Judgement 28

  • Assembly: Wintermark National
  • Raised By: Vaukahainen Salt Foot
  • Judgement: It is an insult to the Pride of Wintermark for the crafts of our runesmiths to end up in the hands of maggots. We urge all tradesfolk to not sell the fruits of their labours to the Thule.
  • Outcome: Not Upheld (58 - 68)

Judgement 33

  • Assembly: Nine
  • Raised By: Cesare Enzo di Trivento
  • Judgement: Appoint Eska Crowspeaker to the Imperial delegation at the international anti-slavery summit.
  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (9 - 0, Primacy)

Judgement 35

  • Assembly: Highguard National
  • Raised By: Able of the Shattered Tower
  • Judgement: Highguard is the birthplace of the Way of Virtue. Our gift to all the nations of the Empire. Now the great pilgrimage has begun, the Highguard National Assemby calls upon all who take the Pilgrim's Oath to follow the example of the Winds of Virtue and spread the Way to all corners of the Empire once more. So they may seek out and challenge false belief, correct those who have strayed from Doctrine, and ensure that the soul of the Empire remains strong.
  • Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (568 - 0)

Judgement 36

  • Assembly: Dawn National
  • Raised By: Chauntecleer Words
  • Judgement: The telling of tales within Dawn is one of our cherished traditions for instructing citizens in the virtues. Dawn thanks all those who took part in the Summer contest of words for continuing this. In particular, Alwynn de Celeste and Bors de Carsenere for winning the contest via the acclaim of our children.
  • Outcome: Upheld (102 - 0)

Judgement 41

  • Assembly: Wintermark National

Judgement 95

  • Assembly: Nine
  • Raised By: Viviane de Courdefer
  • Judgement: Ambition's burning flame ascends to Frederick's legacy - he wants to build. For me he calls to set guiding light, a clarion call to all I say so shall I be.

Granite white is precious rare. Too many ways to use it all. So says Wisdom's counting Throne. What will it cost?
What will your greatest work, created by my will cost the Empire in exchange? This then we need - I need.
I need to know what one creation is greater yet than all that part-completed stand?
Can Frederick defeat time's hungry grasp?
Give to me your knowledge and your art.
Give to me your tomorrows all your skill; a world of learning, to rebuild our long-lost legacy.
Those who learn not, those who forget, are doomed to live again our pain. So let us learn and let us grow.
Build me wonder, build me song, build me college universal; let our spirits leave this world but not our skill. Bring students and bring scholars. Bring all our minds together, inspirational.
So shall it be, to all I say - a clarion call for empire's good; for virtue guards our souls. Ambition's flame will always forge tomorrow greater than today.
I call for designs for ten library-colleges, one in every nation, to store duplicate books; and to teach students of the Way, or war, of history and the past, of architecture for the future - and for Frederick to teach as Adelmar the lion did; that knowledge be built higher and future generations have to tools the build even greater.

Following the inquisition of the Asavean Architect Almodin Oktisis I conclude the following: the crime of idolatry is defined as worship, veneration or exaltation of any inhuman entity or force. That Oktisis is an idolater is not in question, he assured me quite unrepentantly that he would continue to use idolatrous imagery (hidden or otherwise) in structures of our Faith. That cannot be overlooked by the Synod, show duty is the preservation of the Way.

Judgement 67

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Corwyn Leafstalker
  • Judgement: Vindication. Regarding the Inquisition of Bohemond de Rondell, through investigation and inquisition I find it very unlikely that the alleged "kill list" ever existed. Bohemond appears to be competent and if he were to be assassinating fellow citizens I don't believe he'd be so sloppy to get caught this way.
  • Outcome: Upheld (629 - 104)

Judgement 74

  • Assembly: General
  • Raised By: Yarona of the Chantry

Judgement 92

  • Assembly: Marcher National
  • Raised By: Martin Orchard
  • Judgement: Penance. Mel of Bleak House Farm accepts that they were foolish to pose questions of theology to layfolk, although there was no intent to teach these questions as doctrine.
